Covid-19 Decides It WON'T Infect Anyone During This Public Holiday

I wish to applaude the virus for this considerate move. This is following in the footsteps of government workers that won't be working during this 4-day Easter weekend to administer the Covid Vaccine.



What in the actual fuck is wrong with GoK? I wanted to register my old man for the vaccine. My first stop was the Aga Khan Primary school next to Aga Khan University Hospital. I was informed that the vaccine won't be administered until Tuesday.

And then I called the Nairobi West Hospital, then Embakasi Health Centre. Same story.

All because government employees have taken a 4-day holiday, in the middle of a lockdown, at the height of a pandemic.

GoK's/Uhuru's half-assed way of doing things is so FUCKING infuriating!

In most European countries, doctors and nurses have voluntarily cum out of retirement to help combat this pandemic.
Uhuru Kenyatta cannot force anybody to work on their day off lest he's called a dictator!
Issues like this go to reflect what is wrong with Kenyans as a people.
Selfishness, poor work ethic and a generally poor moral fibre quickly get exposed in hard times.
What Kenya needs to galvanise and unite it's people is a good war, preferably with Tanzania which is definitely and adversely undermining the little effort made by Kenya in combating the Rona.
