Could The Whole World Use Just One Currency?

Our world is home to over 190 countries using 180 currencies to trade, invest, and collect taxes. The global economy is complex at the best of times and the foreign exchange, or forex market only looks to add an additional layer of confusion and complexity.

So this begs the question could the world adopt a single universal currency?

The world has always used one currency until the 'elites' introduced papers.

We used to use gold and silver as the universal currency.

The things is if gold is going to be introduced, the economic shift will occur because India and Middle East hold massive gold reserves.
And Africa holds the gold mines too.

The vide makes an in-depth analysis of all that. Having a global currency is next to impossible.

Batter trade was the initial and gold and silver came afterwards.
Gold as currency is the only stable solution in my opinion.
These other printed papers are not stable and can be manipulated.
At the rate we are moving, cryptocurrencies are shaking up the table. Gold is still King though

I think it was mostly barter trade. There was/is not enough gold and silver to go around for all transactions
