After hearing the utterances by a Tanzanian official rejecting the 5 positive test by Kenya of their drivers. It's about time we closed the borders, seeing 9 of our own contracted the disease over there. The official 'ostrich' position by our neighbors, will cause more harm to us, if we assume business as usual model of interactions.
Their lethargic and mediocre leadership should not be the reason for us to suffer. It's about time we be more vigilant in our cross border interactions or else, we shall lockdown, taita taveta, kajiado, narok and migori counties, which is in effect, locking the barn after the horse has bolted.
Locking down the above mentioned counties shall ensure our essential services personnel shall be spread thin due to the expansiveness of the area of coverage.
