Prof. Muriuki – An Exceptional Math Educator
For most mortals, math was a necessary evil, a chore you had to slog through to survive college. Yet, a huge surprise awaited those who attended Prof. Muriuki’s classes. Through his unique flair for instruction, he made math seem easy and enjoyable. His unique teaching talent must have benefited thousands upon thousands of students in a teaching career that spans over four decades. If there ever was a G.O.A.T of math teachers, this would be him. In the grand pantheon of math educators, he stands as a colossus, a maestro in his craft. He made me aspire to teach math the way he did, and even though I failed, I am sure he has inspired many others to greatness. I hope he is still teaching, because such talent is hard to replace. I also wish he had a wider platform, such as a YouTube channel, to reach more people. I hope he teaches until he is 105, so that more might benefit from his tutelage. If ever there were a national treasure to be revered, it would be none other than this paragon of pedagogy.
