Homosexuality is as much a sin as is lying, stealing, being covetous etc.
The difference is that
people wish to be allowed to not only live in their sin but also have made it their identity. Can you imagine a situation where a murderer would like to be accepted because of his nature and even be made a clergy member?
God loves all, forgives all and I'm sure is appaled by the fact that this minority group wishes to be excluded from His holy decree which is very clear that homosexuality is wrong.
Very refreshing to see the African Church distance itself from such wickedness
