Wadau naenda Eldy kesho for the 1st time ever. What are the best public means? Could be shuttle or otherwise. Price isn't an issues but comfort and safety are key.
And don't suggest flying coz it's only 6K but I have a phobia for being locked in a big metallic vessel in the air.

Last time I went those sides using ma3, North Rift ruled the route. Used to be 700/- back then in 2009 with a stopover at Nax. Niko sure sahii ni kama thao but not sure if they maintained the excellence of their services.
Also, don't fear flights.. It's the safest mean of transport - all things considered.
