Beggers outside Naivas Kenyatta avenue/ Moi avenue

Many beggers bothering shoppers right at the exit of Naivas 24hr at Kenyatta/ Moi avenues Junction. Looks like the shop management has sanctioned their presence there. So annoying. Next time i will try Tuskys chap chap at muindi mbingu or near gpo. The economy must be doing badly than we all think.

However there are too many individuals abusing the good heartedness and generosity of the Kenyan society. Rumours of commercialization and importation of begging 'enterprise' is a factual.

Another 'blind' mzee was traced to his residence in Jericho and he was seen walking around and chatting to people openly like any person with good visual ability can do. He used to go to a pub after coming from 'work' every evening. There is also a large group of Tanzanian panhandlers residing in Kariobangi North, watu wa mat huwashughulikia sana.

Amongst them there is a young woman whose one hand is chopped.She came to my window and showed it to me thinking I would part with something.Yes I could give her something but showing me her "half hand" made me think otherwise.There are people with worse deformities and don't beg

True. Yesterday evening I witnessed a beggar depositing 2450 at an mpesa shop. Assuming she had not deposited anything else during the day that translates to over 70k pm.
