Becoming very hard to disagree with Team Brave

While I may not fully agree with team brave akina @Ngimanene na Muchere and @The.Black.Templar it’s becoming apparent that the government has failed in the way its dealing with this pandemic.
5 months since we got our first covid 19 case in the country we have only managed to test LESS than 1% of the population!!! This begs the question why are we continuing enforcing semi lockdown measures which if I remember correctly we were told they are to help us to build capacity since at the time our health infrastructure couldn’t cope with a surge in new cases!
We have not addressed the capacity issue and don’t seem like we will even if given a decade with this government!
We were also lied to that government would ramp up testing but now the narrative has changed that it’s very expensive to acquire test kits yet pesa inaliwa left, right and center!!!
There are parts of the economy that are badly affected by the lockdown measures and are not even sure they’ll survive even after restrictions are eased!
Sasa we are not testing or not able to increase testing yet we keep being told we can only ease restrictions after we “flatten curve” swali ni how are we ever going to do that kama hakuna mass testing going on?!
Kama serikali imeshindwa kupima watu ifungulie nchi kazi iendelee ala!

Ps. I fully support the safety measures (Masks,Social Distancing and Sanitizing) instituted by government so this isn’t a call we abandon everything kama vile @Ngimanene na Muchere would like!
Also COVID 19 is REAL,I am a survivor!
