All milk processors have increased the cost of milk by between Ksh 3 to 5 for both fresh and long life citing higher producer prices.

Comes just days after cost of sugar went up by Shs 30 for 2kgs.

Kwani how much money is made from milk processing? What are the margins? Setup costs za processing plant ni pesa ngapi? Other capital costs? What are barriers to entry into this business?

I wonder why the Kenyattas retained the identities of the different dairies that they bought. Did they consolidate production?

Aptly captured. The last statement when expanded touches also on those fools who through patronage secure contracts from government of the day be they to supply goods or services. They see no issue with the government's bad governance untill they miss out on a lucrative contract.....
The first line refers to the so-called middle class. Those who think that politics and being involved in it is beneath them but are very vocal on social media. They are mostly employed. First malfunction incident of the economy sends them reeling.....

If you look at the 2022 elections through this scope, you can easily conclude that candidates such as Martha Karua, Mukhisa Kituyi and Kivutha Kibwana all appeal to the middle class and therein lies their failure.

No wonder Ruto is way ahead. He has identified the constituency of the poor as his voting block and luckily for him, this constituency grows every other day as the government of the day continues to destroy the economy.

True but Ruto is part of the problem. He has nothing to offer Kenya because of the kind of character he has. He is a warmonger, a hypocrite and a thief. Mukhisa Kituyi to me cannot effectively lead Kenya but he can make an effective Minister. Heading a UN body doesn't make one presidential material....he also lacks control over his personal life. He is a spineless man, a common affliction among his tribesmen. A man who lacks discretion over his sexual escapades cannot lead. A leader must set the right tone and must appear morally upright....a foreign concept in today's Kenya. Martha Karua may look good because of her no nonsense demeanour and the fact that she is not tainted but remember leadership requires a proper balance between firmness, diplomacy, craftiness and integrity....Tyranny benefits no one. A leader must be able to bring people together and share his/her vision or he/she will achieve nothing.

Your assessment of karua and kituyi is apt. On Ruto, I agree to a certain extent. All the adjectives you have used could easily apply to all our former presidents and some of the leading presidential candidates but for some reason Ruto has been given the entire baggage to carry. He is by no means an ideal candidate but looking around I struggle to see an alternative.
