Pricey but worth it for the family. Homemade bread is quite tasty

You have just dodged a dozen unnecessary chemicals that go into your bread, which is really beneficial to the kids. Next, try to introduce them to brown bread. And you do not need to have a bread machine to make bread, a microwave will do as well.
Which chemicals? The only treatment done to a bread is drying for several hours after baking

Wrong. There is a chemical component known as 'improvers' added to commercial bread. This gives it the softness and shelf life.
Haven't you noticed that some kind of bread goes for more than a week or two without spoiling?
The components of the ' improvers' are what we need to interrogate. They have been banned in most of the developed nations.

During my brief sojourn in the UK, I noticed that virtually every grocery had a bakery coz virtually everyone wanted fresh bread off the bakery. Stocking stale bread was akin to kujiongelesha coz only the poor of the poor would buy.
