Keep off Indian bikes.
Before you buy any Indian product, make a point of checking online customer complaints. The reliability of a brand is judged from the number of defects per units produced as opposed to whether one of their products lasted 20 yrs instead of the expected 5 yrs.
Kindly share your bad experience with the Indian products .They seem to have messed you up.

The main issue with these bikes is that they have too many problems buried beneath that glossy look. Some of these problems involve basic issues, the kind nobody should worry about in the manufacturing world of the 21st century. For instance, the variability of similar parts in these products is unbelievably high. Reason? The manufacturers are still using machinery that should have been retired many decades ago. Another major aspect is materials quality. Indians cannot make consistent quality steel to date. This is mainly due to lack of expertise and an inclination to cutting corners. Finally, quality control is almost non-existent and where present, it is too basic.
Below I have copy-pasted a few complaints from customers of the Apache rr310. This is a new bike, which means more problems are bound to creep up with time. What is most worrying is that the reported problems are too basic they should have been picked during the testing phase. If they cannot get the basic issues right, how about the more complex items? If want to know how this particular model will fare a few years from now, just look at the problems facing their previous models.

Has TVS fixed vibration issues with TVS Apache RR 310? The showroom supervisor says vibration was the initial complaint which the company has fixed now, is it true?

If the source of the vibration was due to the motor, I don’t think they have.
No matter what you do, a single cylinder motor simply cannot offer the refinement of a, let’s say a triple or even a twin.
The best they might have done is PROBABLY mount the engine on some rubber mounts. As I don’t see any rubber on the footpegs on the 310, that might be the only probable solution.
Apart from that I don’t think TVS might be able to do much as it is the inherent characteristic of the motor. So I presume that they might have minimized it, but not completely fixed it.
Hope this helps

First of all if company makes any changes than it will inform other rr owner to avail the changes thats not possible for any company to make such changes so soon as it affects the goodwill of company.
Supervisor is trying to manipulate you.

A mix of Observations from a customer

Issues faced at 5000 kms: The handle bars were vibrating a bit out of the comfort zone and poor mirror visibility after 100 km/hr.
Solution provided: Heavier bar end weights have been provided by TVS which has helped a lot in tackling the handle bar vibration.
Issues faced at 10,000 kms: The front side fairing near the visor was making a rattling noise after 90km/hr and poor mirror visibility after 100 km/hr.
Solution Provided: Visor cushion has been provided by TVS which is placed in the gap between the visor and the body panel. No solution has been provided for the poor mirror visibility as of now.

A Summary of the Cons

-Pillion seat is strictly restricted to bungee cords and baggage's.
-Exhaust Note (Come on,TVS)
-Mild vibrations from foot pegs, handle bars and seat at 6k rpm.
-The ugly tyre hugger.
-Lack of slipper clutch takes out the fun in riding on hilly terrain and corners.
-Squeaking body panels.
-Although the instrument cluster is loaded with information, it is not colourful.
-Paint chipping off on master cylinder and mirror stem. (Reported in group)
-Mirrors are useless post the 100 mark.
-Fuel tank capacity of just 11 ltrs.
-Exposed Radiator, leading to bent fins.
Gearbox
The gearbox is a clunky one, you can hear a immediate clunk once you shift to 1st from Neutral. The gear shifts are of mixed nature, some bikes have really smooth shifts and some are really hard. Although I am not sure if it depends on any kind of adjustments to the clutch cable or chain tightness. My gear shifts are really erratic and it hasn't changed one bit, one also needs to be very cautious in finding Neutral while downshifting.
Fit & Finish of body panels
The body panels have been neatly designed, but the fit and finish is not that great. The tank panels and the tail piece squeaks when pressed hard from Day 1 even till today, no solution has been provided even after a meeting with the Technical Engineer from TVS. I checked out the new lot bikes at the showroom to see if the issue still persists, but it is the same story on the new bikes too. Paint chipping has been reported in the group especially on the master cylinder and the mirror stem. I have recently found a couple of days back that there is some sort of air bubble formation on my right fairing. I have escalated this to the SVC, waiting for a solution.
