Antivaxxers part 2

Being skeptical about the COVID vaccines but willing to take anti-rabies or the BCG vaccination is not being an anti-vaxxer.

I contracted and recovered from COVID. What need to be answered without sneers and name-calling is this:

1. Having gained antibodies to fight COVID as a result of my past infection, do I still need to get 3 doses of vaccines to give me the same antibodies?

2. Is there a strain of common flu coronavirus prevalent in East Africa that after infection offers future immunity against itself and against COVID-19? There are extreme disparities in the morbidity and mortality of COVID here and in, say, Italy.

3. And on the same morbidity and mortality, and given it's been a month since the latest Omicron variant was brought to our attention, what are the statistics other than the infection rates? How likely are you to get extremely ill or die? We don't hear hospitals getting overwhelmed or drop dead victims in the streets.

Could this be the variant that finally kills itself by giving mild symptoms and immunity against itself?
