I am starting to think women na leadership ni kama Baba na presidency. Haziendanishi....
Sadly you are right, I look at my immediate surroundings and particularly my colleagues and I can't help but notice collective sabotage in all their affairs.

I mean look at this advocate for pads, and a Senator to boot?

Mnataka kujua nani aliroga waafrika bado?

Hio story ya pads is one thing that we as men will never understand ata tukijaribu aje.
Despite being a woman you obviously have lower oestrogen levels than your boss here so let me engage you.

This freebie train, where do you think it should end?

You want free education up to uni level for your children. You want free health care. You want school feeding programmes. You want free pads.

Drought ikitokea kidogo you want the whole world to stop to give you free food ( incidentally when a calamity happens elsewhere and the govt gives a token contribution, you can't help yelping and ranting that that money should have been spent feeding your hungry children. The entitlement! As if those countries that have been giving you famine relief since Year 0 don't have their own needy cases).

But let's keep our eyes on the ball. Where should the freebie train stop?

Who's gonna pay for the freebies in a country of 50m where less than 4m people have KRA pins ? Where the total tax collection is less than that of a small borough in NYC state?

In all this, what is the role, responsibility and duty of the parent? Ama kazi ni kuzaa na kusukumia taxpayers mzigo wa kulea?

This nonsense must stop. People must get those children they can feed, educate and support. People must take responsibility for their lives - take out medical insurance, save for a rainy day, invest, etc.

Nobody owes anybody else anything.
