Another SAD SAD FACT!

It is because the population is so low hence they have few schools because they have no need for them and the ones they have are not in full capacity because even their translation rates are low (kwanza girls after class seven, eight just disappear into the baby factory). Secondly the elite in those places will not take their children to local schools but to Moi Mbiruri and Meru school. The schools there are for the very poor and it is why the elite never speak up when teachers are shot dead for spot...well, until TSC pulls out its teachers and they see an opportunity to claim marginalization....which they use to justify more money...
Well put it mwalimu lakini hapo kwa translation badilisha. One shilling, one man ama tusimamishe mujadala na ugavi wa pesa hadi 2021.

The allocations should be proportionate based on people. We should not have a situation where every secondary school child in constituency A gets bursary whether their parents can pay or not while in constituency B deserving cases (very poor kids) get a flat rate of shs 2000 because they are too many.
I keep telling people this and they don't want to hear; devolution was designed by Babuon and his lackeys to starve Central of devt. This largely takes form in two ways - CDF allocations and County allocations.

For County allocations, this post has shown how each child in Garrissa gets SIX times what a child in Ruiru gets. But it gets worse, both Ruiru and say Budalangi get about Sh100million each year as CDF Funds. Population Ruiru Constituency? 490,000. Population Budalangi (once home to one of Babuon's most radical defenders)? 68,000.

Somebody try to explain this.

Nothing will change if GEMA makes it about themselves, ask yourselves why 'other' populous counties which were previously for, withdrew from supporting the CRA thingy?

If you are not careful you are being set up for a post 2005 scenario, where a certain region is seen as denying 'marginalised' areas their 'compensation' for being in Kenya.

the bigger picturre here seems to be 43 vs 1, central is not the only one benefiting but they are owning the process making it seem they are the ones taking from others

Eh!!! it isn't 43, but you are right, shiny eyes are going nuclear in the social media, they should tone down the clamour and let things be. They are handing over a loaded gun to their mortal enemies.

how much has national govt invested in gema compared to north eastern?
How much has gema invested in national govt compared to northeastern?

We conveniently forget that the foreign exchange earned by Kenya in the was mainly from coffee and tea exports, this means that anything imported into Kenya or borrowed like tarmac for the roads and foreign loans were made on the backs of mainly gema coffee and tea farmers.

We also forget that coffee and tea are the only cash crops that have taxes on production and export !
Essentially, Gema has been carrying a disproportional burden of contributing towards the national cake

Other communities need to be taxed on production, eg camels goats and cows and if land size is a factor in distribution of resources, then it has to be taxed too!!

I have a school that I have a deep passion for. It's a great a great school huko Isiolo ndaani. It made me who I'm today. I'm going to do something about it despite myself being a Kikuyu.
