Airtel will never regain market share from safaricom if all they do is follow safaricoms footsteps in innovation. Airtel's problems is it's organisational structure, it's very difficult to innovate quick and fast with tight controls and bureaucracy coming from airtel africa group, to make some decisions you have to consult with airtel africa group which takes time and could come and shut down your operations if you go ahead with plans which they don't approve of, the politics there is huge, they recently fired and replaced a group of managers and this is not the first time doing so.

Good for them. UnlimiNET has been my friend for a few years now
Unliminet was my saviour for a couple of years until i shifted to Ruiru - Murera where their network is non existent.Ilibaki nimeanza kutumia safaricom tena.Airtel is very useless kwa hiyo neighbourhood .Infact my friends are able to tell when i am home or out and about - by just calling my airtel number.

I had a change of handset from Nokia 5 dual SIM to Xiaomi A3 and it seems the Nokia was the problem not Airtel.
