Massive jam at Maai Mahiu due to an accident. Anwarali FAW, FTR and matatu in a head on collision. Plan yourselves accordingly. Police on scene working hard to clear the jam.

All those trucks should be picking their cargo/containers at Naivasha ICD. We are tired of reading about these truck accidents on that stretch daily. Uhuru already amefanya kazi and extended sgr to naivasha icd. Those trucks should be banned from.mai.mahiu Road the way they were banned from.cbd and now have to use Southern bypass. We can't spend billions extending sgr to naivasha to ensure efficiency and safety and then have some.rogue trucks killing people and causing accidents on the stretch daily.

I know. Before oil transportation from Mombasa to upcountry (Nairobi, nakuru, eld, ksm oil depots) was switched from trucks to the pipeline, there were numerous oil tanker jams and accidents. Likewise, all containers should be ferried to Nairobi, naivasha, kisumu, eld inland container depots via rail to ensure safety and efficiency.

You think that grossly overvalued,single track rail can carry even half the cargo at Mombasa port?!
