We call this plant "thĩna" in greek, has no roots, has no "leaves" , just like poverty it can't stick to you, just make efforts to reduce/eradicate it in your life. (The Greek adage "thĩna nduri mĩri" , poverty has no roots ie can't hold permanently on you)

There's another notorious type that goes by the name 'kieha'

Both are parasitic.
