Which fate would you choose?

If you were to choose between a job offer which pays you almost double your salary but in a new company or stick to where you are with a job security, which one would you go for?

There is much much more to consider then just the 2 x salary.

Generally there is NOT enough info for anybody other then a fool, to offer you any meaningful advise.

Generally, over time, i have come to observe that in those forums, if you present your issue with all details and seek advise, you can get what you would otherwise pay a consultant/counselor for.

Sometimes very helpful material could even come from some character that thinks they are ridiculing/insulting you

While salary may not be everything, at times your comfort zone prevents progress. Apart from salary what else does the new job offer? Is your current position stagnant with no room for professional growth ? How do the benefits (including terminal) compare?...

Things to consider:
Expenses
How will your expenses change in your new job? Leaving one job in a rural setting for a better-paid job in an urban area could be a blunder. The higher expenses in the city could eat into a huge chunk of the extra pay.
Conveniences
How do the conveniences compare in the two jobs? For instance, if you are accustomed to jumping from bed to work, you may find it unbearable to spend several hours traveling to work.
Job Stability
How stable is the new job compared to the previous one? You do not want a job you have to pray for every morning.

Depends on who you ask like for instance sahi due to covid watu wameona umuhimu wa stability.....
But generally if you choose stability know:
1. Routine and boredom
2. Comfort zone and redundancy
3.kills creativity
4. Little room for growth
However you get time to spend with your family if that is your thing

However more money comes
1. Less time to actually spend it
2. More adventurous more responsibility,
3. Room for expression and creativity

But kiss free time goodbye you will most likely work weekends and travel alot
If you are young go for money if married or with family you choice is black and white isn't it?
You dont want them worrying about whether you gonna make rent(insert bills here) or not!

This is the most accurate analysis. I can attest to it, especially lack of time for your family.
When you look back, you just see a blank space.
