Mtu na pesa yake mimi naingilia wapi? Feel free to buy into KQ while you cannot travel to Nyeri. Alafu uangalie the net assets value ya KQ going forward.

Look at coronavirus effect on international travel. If I had money to risk, and ability to execute it, I would short KQ shares.

I wish you knew more. Staying will only make them poorer but they will be alive and hopefully recover once we have a vaccine. Those that have been decimated by this disease will never have that opportunity.

Mimi trading sielewi kabisa. Everything tells me travel/hospitality industries will take a long time to.recover. Has the market under priced these shares?

The future is uncertain, what I know is domestic travel will go up, international not so much or rather other 'safer tourist' destinations will emerge.
Travelling east will maybe take some time.
Anyways to your point, if travel takes time, this is the time to buy in, layman thinking on my part, while shares are low.
Mimi I don't do shares anyways.

It is not about under pricing we are looking at here. KQ was a scalp opportunity. In and out quick.
How many shares are worth less than a shilling at the moment?
That means, 100k would have got you 100k+ shares. Meaning an increase of 50% nets you a 50k easy, even better if it doubles in the short term.
The risk was worth it.

But our debate on KQ shares was about its long term prospects(3 years). Weeks gains and losses will be there.

But you are not factoring that on 5th May 2020 when @Aviator said be would buy the shares, the volume of KQ shares traded was only 45,000. So it's not possible that he would have bought 1 million shares.

I know that’s a hypothetical scenario but goes to show that someone can make money from this share...

Leo they traded 473,000 shares.
