48 laws of power- Robert Greene

Some months back I recommended that Liwe liwalo should read this book. The book is so powerful that it has been banned in some American prisons. This is because the book subverts the mind and makes the reader calculating.

The most cardinal of all sins is Rule number 1: "Never outshine your master." Sending foot soldiers like Ndindi Nyoro and the likes to go head on with Uhuru is juvenile. Look at Joho. He can be elected on any party he view with. But he tries very hard never to outshine the master. 2007- 2012 Uhuru was not in a mission to outshine Kibaki.

So what next for Ruto? Is he finished? Does he have any moves left? Is the chess game done?

Up staging Uhuru in his supposed stronghold was his cardinal mistake. Kila weekend ni harambees mount kenya ni kama huko tu ndio kuko na kanisa.
He also rigged in the young guys at the nomination level in Mount Kenya and that's why they are very loyal to him while the old guard wako na machungu na yeye.
He was playing the long game but his cards seem to unravel

But Uhuru is no master, if he was he would have demanded compliance from Ruto and removed him from his post at the first sign of resistance.

Moi was a master, Kagame is a master, Museveni too, anyone who defied (or defies) them is crushed swiftly

Wanjohi on the other hand can only treat his deputy with kid gloves.

Game is far from over..be very careful dealing with an opponent who seems defeated/cornered.remember he isn't a kasmall boy politically or mentally.

Problem with Ruto, he has too much baggage. If they activate all levers, atashangaa. Some issues with his kleptomaniac appetite can be revisited in a heartbeat. Weston land grab, Dam scandal, sewerage land etc.
