From the look of things, if government officials don't mess with allotment of Ngara Chinese constructed houses and the houses are fairly distributed, then that will be the end of Kenyan contractors in the house sector. Kenyan road contractors are struggling, trust went down coupled with shoddy workmanship

Intially the ppl who deserve the houses will get them but the chances of the middle class buying them out is very high..... what happened in kibera upgrading is bound to occur again.

Bury was built by government through financing by CDC. It was envisioned as owner-occupier and that's how many government employees got the houses. They paid mortgages for the houses.

I've seen this happen everywhere, especially on these online moneymaking platforms whereby a company allegedly collapses with people's money in it then the founders come later to form another one, with a different name and still manage to extort people's money

I have always thought it would be better if the government stuck to its core mandate, provide basic infrastructure, paved roads, power lines, sewer systems and security, the rest will fall into place.
