Leo tuko day 23 of lockdown yet the tests being done are very few. Around 500 per day. These containment measures are hurting the economy but the worst part is that ni kama we have no clear plan. We should be addressing the health issue and the economic issue simultaneously.

Ssebos and Nyabos seem to be doing it right.

take anything from ssebo with a wheelbarrow of kensalt. As it is, the Kenyan economy never went into total lock down. Businesses the world over are hurting and so are economy's. Now post corona is where the game will be played.
No country will want to engage with countries where information and data is highly manipulated by the government because that increases the risks of re introduction of covid-19 in countries where it has been contained.

500 tests a day is a joke for us, the CS said we can conduct more than 1500, it has never happened.
Which restaurateur will pay 10k a person for their staff to be tested, who've been on unpaid
leave for more than a month just so that they can re-open.
Instead of GOK making it easy for people to be tested, they are just making it impossible.
A couple of weeks back, lancet featured on TV on how the conduct the COVID-19 tests,
they were charging 6k. Now it's 10k, also Nairobi Hospital.
For GOK and it's cronies, it's money minting time.

By default we shall find ourselves slowly opening up, people are already tired of washing hands and sanitizing. People aren't already wearing masks but just hanging them on their mouths. From where I live, people are slowly going back to the streets. The earlier fear of this deadly pandemic is slowly disappearing , it's like we have overcomed. The country is just on the see and wait. With restaurants opening, next expect churches.

People are already tired of the lockdown since it’s very apparent the government has no plan whatsoever for the health crisis or the ensuing economic crisis!
In fact if the curfew was moved by just 2hours to 9pm,itakuwa business as usual.
