So far so good.

We can only hope no funds are being pilfered, at least in the face of a pandemic. Don't we all know politicians' ravenous appetite for taxpayers' money and external loans?

Nakuona. hii story i have no more information than those two lines up here which are clearly not enough to enable a good opinion.
I am however aware that there is money that has been disbursed to all 47 counties to help them build capacity in the hundreds of millions each and there's money going to cash transfers for vulnerable families. I can feel the members' incredulity but once again the information is scanty. I also do not see the relationship between COVID19 and NIS but, well, i do not want to guess the author's intention in putting the line in the mix.

Edit - This response was done before i had seen the fuller report posted by @It's Me Scumbag .
I appreciate very much. Unajua kuna porojo, fitina na propaganda mingi flying around and for some of us we believe all that papers say.. but at times we get confused unless we have an insider. That's why I called on you. @It's Me Scumbag my patience has paid..

Gaswin mbona you didn't directly quote this on my quest for the truth? You tack it hidden somewhere? Thangs very much. Now I have ammo to counter naysayers
Number one please address me by my correct username. I will appreciate.
Number two: I didn't have it then, nimeiona mahali saa hii Nikila lunch. I thought I should share it to enrich the debate.

Makes sense.

However, the nonsense I have seen is Kshs 13billion being paid to SMEs for pending bills but government saying that's one of the measures they have put in place to tackle the virus. That was money belonging to SME's!!!!
Indeed. Hata wana yangu I hope they pay, whatever they call it.

The paper has apologized to the CS...They actually left out info he had given out. Sensationalism at its best.

Halafu hapo kwa machina, sameea yeye. Makosa ni kurudia kosa: Called you Gershwin and now Gaswin. Nikki @Abba ?

Curiously, why has the office of the auditor general remained vacant even after successful application and interviews? Because Martin liquor king govt doesn't want to be audited!!??!!
