bit late to the party but NANSENS.
Other fields of Engineering YES. But car making NO! The British made verry shitty cars. Hell even their mass-manufacture motor industry is 99% dead. Only "specialist" manufacturers remain; McLaren, Morgan, London Cabs Int'l.

Well there were no Japanese trucks in the 40s 50s 60s and 70s because they were still learning how to make cars.The moment walishika, they became better than the British
