Kenya needs an opposition body

No one is keeping the government on toes. We have wrongs done to we the citizens and none is raising it all up because all politicians are on our payroll.

So if I'm Ruto, I'll grab this opportunity to officially resign from government and be opposition leader. This way he will fill a void that was left with RAO. He should talk of all evils being done. I know he will be bashed but at the end of the day Kenyans will feel someone is on their side and will earn our sympathy

But with no opposition in a country these guys are behaving like cowboys. That's why ambassador Macharia talks like he is a chinese ambassador to kenya .
 
If Ruto is smart, he should stay in government and show leadership. Leadership ndio tumekosa, and ruto is in a better position to show leadership within government than he would outside it.

Asirudie makosa ya Rao, when he was in the same position as he was.

Don’t think so. Their arrogance was the same when they blamed Kenyans for the racist actions of the Chinese at sgr. Compromised to complete timidity

You will not win that argument, ni nani hajaiba? Fact is that if you want to change a system, you must do it from within.

Imagine a presidential candidate comes to you saying, please vote for me, as you can see i do not have any money because i have not stolen, and because of this i am the best leader in the country. I am a good person with a good heart kindly vote for me.....do you think such a person would survive?

Its not an arguement, an observation. There have been too many areas where we needed and still need a leaders. Keanza sahii na corona is still yet an opportunity, lakini jamaa yuko tu.
There has been many opportunities where angeamka aseme hapa sitakubaliana na uhuru..... you know leadership,. jamaa, yuko tu
Hata hawezi sema at times Matiangi ana deal na watu kama yeye ni mkoloni na sisi ni sub citizens, Ruto.... yuko tu.
Huyo ndio jamaa mtaomba aamke siku moja awe opposition, how.....
Na usiseme ni uhuru undercutting him, coz. ikifika kuiba, he finds a way

Not by a light year. An opposition does not mean making noise and calling the sitting government and its leaders names. An opposition critiques (that is gives a fair appraisal of) the policies of the sitting government while suggesting viable alternatives as it demonstrates that it can offer a better government (ie it is a government-in-waiting). An opposition is not anarchist.

In parliamentary systems of government, the loyal opposition is the opposition parties in the legislature. The word loyal indicates that the non-governing parties may oppose the actions of the sitting cabinet while remaining loyal to the source of the government's power.

So you are saying Miguna can not be an opposition leader leading a minority party?
 
RUTO THE THIEF WILL NEVER BE PRESIDENT. Ruto is a thief and he can't dare to run away from the system that has sustained him all along
 
The people form the foremost opposition bodies through civil society groups and NGOs whose primary mandate is the welfare of Kenyans, their dedication to this singular purpose pits them against government whenever policies that do not favour thr people are pursued.

Political parties come next but without NGOs and civil society groups political parties pursue safe causes and those that favour them, the people come second.

We need more Greenbelt movements, Mars groups, stronger COFEK and such, just look at the UK, the US, Germany where such groups cause governments massive headaches, we need that.
