I hate it when people are featured publicly for inventing cars.. planes ..and now, excavator ..reinventing the wheel

Celebrating mediocrity seems to be in Kenyan's DNA ..basically, celebrating the uncelebratable reminds Kenyans of the direct lineage to apes.. much like, wow! ona an ape inatoa ndizi ka binadamu

get it? coz if you dont i am gonna unleash the bonobo word and honestly, i hate that word too.

I hate it..

We need to get past mediocrity. Lets celebrate people who come up with better performing e-car batteries ..those that get more mileage than Tesla's ..or those which are cheaper.. lets come up with more efficient excavators ..those that have a lesser carbon imprint

Get it? ..coz if you dont i'd be surprised given that back in 94 i co-existed quite well with B grade to E grade students even with my A-

It's not about reinventing an excavator, but the fact that a kid seems to understand (maybe even intuitively) the concepts involved and even apply them to a level (using a bunch of sticks). Such actions indicate curiosity which is a good foundation for discovery and innovation. This is clearly something to celebrate.

You celebrate intention because it indicates a fertile mind that can be natured for greater benefits. Even in those developed countries children are offered opportunities to exercise their minds and knowledge through science fairs. Very rarely do these kids come up with anything innovative. This is something to celebrate.

I can already tell you do not belong in any hard science (STEM) field.

If you did you would understand that the process of discovery is founded on the appreciation of what is already known. For a kid to understand and build such a complex lever system is not easy and the fact that this one does is amazing.
 
You reek of hypocrisy and self-hate. Why would you not celebrate a fertile mind, a kid who shows intention to understand the existing knowledge which is an indicator of opening his mind to greater heights of innovativeness? What would you have said if this was a clip of a young man rolling in mud after taking busaa?
