The way this video is cut is very telling. Some clips aren't dated, the person replies to a question and you dont know the context of the question.

Hahaha. So you're arguing from the point clips arent dated and not on the content of what was said? Anyway you can fact check when Oxiris Barbot, Nancy Pelosi and Blasio uttered those words in the clip. Also check when Joe Biden called Trump a xenophobic for closing travel with China.

Oxiris Barbot made that statement on 2nd Feb, there were zero cases in New York at the time. Would we say the risk was low then?yes
DeBlasio, made his comments the same day and the risk was low then.
Pelosi made her remarks at Chinatown San Francisco on Feb 24/25 urging pepople to go there. the first case of covid in SF was on 2nd April.
All these people made statements saying it was safe to continue life as normal because there wasnt an immediate threat in the particular area at that time. That is the context and that is what your video happily leaves out.
The difference between what @Bottoms and you posted is that the first video shows your trump supporters claiming that covid is NOT a threat and nothing to be concerned about.
Your video tries to do the same thing, but leaves out the context of the threat to a particular location at a particular time.
There is a clear distinction and if you cant see that then you are being willfully ignorant.
What's your point? That without covid 19 cases then there was no need to be proactive?So what's the difference in your statement with what Fox News incorrectly called just a flu?

They said they were highly prepared. What constitutes as "highly prepared" is another matter altogether. However, considering there weren't any cases at that time, there was no need for very stringent measures. You, only yesterday, on this very forum, said that the US is committing economic suicide. And that was after all the cases and deaths and measures they have taken they have so far. Isn't it not reasonable that they were far less strict about any such measures in particular places 2 months ago when the threat was considerably low?
