If Kenya goes into an expected shut down, at least 8 in 10 Kenyans (the informal sector) will take a direct hit. And unlike in the US and other countries which are able to feed their citizenry over a sustained pandemic, when the rubber meets the road, the Kenyan poor will have nothing to eat apart from the rich. Eventually, those high walls erected to keep the wretched of the earth away from the elite, will have to come down.
And we don't have to wait to get there.

True.Nairobi can't handle the population it has,we hoped counties would reverse rural to Urban migration but it didn't work.I have a feeling those of us below 50 will actually migrate to the counties but most likely not our rural counties.most will go to kilifi,laikipia,Nakuru etc

Planning dept in Nairobi is full of idiots.how does one approve such congested living areas??
ION: there are whole estates along msa rd that are empty, one development is a complete town,I just don't know why people don't want to move
