There are two ways of looking at this 'kikuyu affair' situation. You can be the ones who claim that Ruto is sidelining Kikuyus just because he had Rigathi impeached for trying to inherit him when he was still alive.

Or you can view it the correct way. Ethinic chauvinists like Rigathi are conspiring to ring fence kikuyu votes, threatening the president and telling him not to step a foot into Mt Kenya, all for the goal of using Kikuyu votes as a bargaining tool. Basically what Raila has been doing for decades now.

So who is making it a Kikuyu affair? Those ringfencing kikuyu votes, or those who are being threatened with violence whenever they try and visit Mt Kenya?

Show us where it is stated that the maandamano was to be held on the day when Ruto was to visit Mt Kenya as you alleged.

Exactly. If you bothered to read the article you would see the backdrop of the statement was when Gachagua was trying to ride the Koome wave claiming Ruto was trying to push her out. That Ruto was trying to finish his community.
