Mama Mboga , watu ya bodaboda 2.0

My biggest fear for the 2027 elections is that the masses might once again be swayed by handouts and empty promises. There’s also a chance that next year, they’ll try to appease civil servants and the paycheck crowd by slashing or scrapping certain taxes.

It’s up to the opposing side to unite and front a strong, credible candidate. And for the rest of us who truly care about this country, the responsibility starts right where we are: at home, in the workplace, with your mbogi, even at the local joint. We must push to change the narrative.

Who is the opposition?
Officially, none at the moment since the formation of the bread-based nonsense.

Other than that, a few factions are arising. On one hand, you have the likes of Gachagua, Kalonzo, Eugene and Martha Karua on one side.
My preferred candidate Okiya is solo as is my second favourite, Maraga.

Then there are rumors that Matiang'i will vie with the backing of Jubilee (Read Uhuru) party and then there are some entities gaining popularity among the masses but whose ambitions are unknown, such as Natembeya and Babu Owino.
