Maghufuli was a trained scientist so he knew. Elon Musk took several tests at the same time and some came back positive and others negative. How many people were wrongly diagnosed?
Biden preemptively pardoned Fauci, but justice will come one way or the other. Many people's lives were wrecked by their virus enhancement experiments.

It's totally okay to get upset at all that happened during that period. Humanity was dealing with something it had not done for a century. A lot of mistakes were made and a lot of lessons learned. Not acknowledging covid until it had decimated many was a big failure of many, case in point, the most powerful person in the World then, Trump.
We lost many, millions actually and I hope their souls continue resting in perfect peace. Jobs were lost, economies took a hit and the World has never been the same again. In one way or the other, everyone took a beating.
When the vaccines started being tested and eventually rolled out, we then saw a downward trend in fatalities and eventually, it became history. The aforementioned Trump actually got not just a shot, but also a booster alongside his spouse and other ardent supporters.
Let’s hope that the lessons from that period guide us in facing future global challenges with unity and cooperation, steering clear of blame games and unnecessary politicization.
There have been SARS outbreaks in Asia before covid less than 15 years back...that was nothing new and WHO should have been able to handle covid as it did then. WHO needs to be disbanded since they lost their credibility during covid
