After feeding our onions with phosphorus it was time to feed with sulfur which we mix with nitrogen. We get them from basal Fertilizers like Yara sulfun .
The main reason for combining both is
1. Enhance vigorous growth: Sulfur improves nutrient uptake, enabling the onion to utilize nitrogen efficiently, leading to larger and healthier leaves.
2. Improved Flavour: Sulfur is a key component in producing the characteristic onion flavor and pungency.
3. Disease Resistance: The combination boosts the plant's immunity, making it less prone to diseases.
Also see the spacing that we did 7-10cm very okay .
This was after the application of the above nutrients. Feeding is the secret.

Regular scouting is also a must to ensure the crops are healthy. Here I was checking on downy mildew ( leaves dry from tip to bottom) and also thrips the main pest in onions .
Remember we also spray our crops weekly to prevent all those and also to feed them with foliar.
