Rest assured, if Ruto wins it's because he will brazenly manipulate data but not that he is popular. Let's compare notes in 2027. First test is passing the 7 year presidential term..if he succeeds here nothing is stopping him from mutilating the constitution to his whims. As an adherent supporter, "former", I have totally lost hope in a mature sensible leadership from his excellency. It's a day at a time till election time or unless sth extra ordinary happens.

Si mlisema Ruto stole the election in 2022 also despit having the entire political and security establishment at the time against him?

Also, there is no way that term extension law even makes it past the Judiciary if it is even signed into law by the president. You are simply wasting your breath. It can only be done through a referendum.

Yes I am. If you don't think so, then the same reasoning you apply disqualifies any comparisons you might attempt to make. In other words, you are not supposed to compare Kenya to any other country because no country is exactly like Kenya.

Not me, I have always been pro Uhuru...but his persecution from the president made me switch to his side..little did I know.....damn...anyway, whether aliiba or otherwise has never bothered me. This time am invested to make sure my friends don't make the stupid mistakes I made. Convincing ten is enough.

As for the 7 year term shenanigan..I wouldn't put it past him, though he may still act saviour by saying no so why push it to begin with? They Def know safeguards to the constitution on term limits but still push it..next they'll want to amend deputy president nature to be appointed and not elected. I don't believe any word coming from this govt. Wamalize waende.

True, I can't place my finger on it, perhaps it's fear or direct intimidation or cowardice, the supposed opposition is nowhere to be seen for sure leaving the opposition work to disorganised Gen Z

You said Ruto is behind the bill to extend his and other leader's serving term to 7 years. Then in the same breath you said, if he fails to sign it into law atakuwa akijifanya savior. Really?

If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck it's a duck. The attack dog even worse belongs to him. So what are we even discussing? Vitu zingine zinafanyika hii nchi zinachosha...even if for optics, as a responsible president he shouldn't allow such stupid bills to be floored when his base is shaky

So, you are advocating for the president to direct parliament? That a president should tell senators and mps what to table or not?
