This thing will go all the way to the suprême court by the time its done murima man will have served his term, earned sympathy, consolidated his base and ready to unseat uliam!
 
I have never understood how an individual can feign illness, not necessarily DP, and evade justice in court. What is so difficult about the courts requiring the medical opinion of a court assigned doctor to verify the illness claims and if found to be false, have the doctor involved brought up on charges?
 
Abolish the office of the deputy president. Or introduce a clause barring them from running for president. These squabbles are caused by the "yangu kumi yako kumi" mindset and the entitlement that comes with it. I guarantee the next administration will have the same problems because the next DP (and their supporters) will expect to be "rewarded" for their support. And there will be infighting if they feel like that's not happening. Just look at how closely Kenyans are watching for who the next DP could be. This is an office with no real job or mandate. But they care because in their minds, that person will be the next president. Fix this problem now or we will be treated to these sideshows every election cycle.
