Could Someone Give me Advice for Budget Friendly Road Trips in Kenya?

Hello there,

I am planning to explore more of Kenya and was hoping to get some advice on affordable road trips or destinations within the country. My goal is to discover some hidden gems that might not be as tourist heavy as places like Maasai Mara or Diani Beach but still offer amazing experiences.

Are there any lesser-known highways or routes that offer beautiful landscapes or unique stopovers?
If you know of affordable lodges; camps; or guest houses; that would be helpful. I am not looking for luxury, just clean and comfortable places to rest.
I would love to visit areas where I can interact with local communities; maybe learn about traditional Kenyan lifestyles or participate in cultural events.

I will be driving; but I do not have a 4x4. Are there routes suitable for small cars, or should I be prepared to rent something more rugged?

Also; I have gone through this post; https://kenyanlist.net/index.php?threads/congratulations-kenyanlist-your-minitab-useful-threads-are-appearing-on-google.35079/ which definitely helped me out a lot.

I want to make this trip as affordable as possible without missing out on great experiences.

Thanks in advance for your help and assistance.
