Former Murang’a MCA Joseph Kimani Machiri and his son David Machiri Kimani were reportedly abducted by armed men believed to be police officers late on Sunday night.
The incident unfolded when the assailants dressed in tactical gear broke into Machiri’s residence.
CCTV footage captured the moment they cut the power and forcibly entered the house but the video ends before they could be seen fully.
Machiri had earlier was taken from his home in Thogoto, Kiambu County, under similar circumstances.
These abductions are suspected to be connected to an ongoing Ksh 1.5 billion fraud investigation involving Equity Bank.
