Attorney General missing from Ruto list

Justin Muturi was dismissed and now being nominated to a CS position.
Rebecca Miano was nominated as AG but now being positioned once more as a CS

We do not know what backroom negotiations are taking place.
Here is my list
1 .Ekuru Aukot, the leader of the Third Way Alliance
2. Martha Karua, former Justice Minister in Kibaki government
3. A prominent lawyer from an African or a Caribbean country in the Commonwealth (It's happened before)

Now that the insurrection is contained, I expect ALOT more abductions and extrajudicial killings.

And 2 months from now, Ruto will be off galivanting around the world once more.

@Young_Turk , If some parts of GenZ supporters were expecting an Arab Spring, the moment is past.
However, GenZ actions has left a mark in our political fabric with potential long-term impact.
As to increased abductions and extrajudicial killings, I hope it doesn't come to that !

You were right that Martha Karua and Ekuru Aukot would not accept an AG position in President Ruto's government.
The end result, we now have Wakili Madam Dorcas Oduor who has been passed over for promotion many times because she is a member of the Luo community. I wish her well and believe she will provide the necessary legal/political leadership in a crucial docket.

In Kenya, an AG requires a bureaucrat but with cunning political instincts. Charles Njonjo and Amos Wako totally fit that bill. The rest of occupants of that critical office since independence, using colorful Luo terminology “Were Others”

On a personal note, even though we couldn’t have Ekuru Aukot in government as an AG, providing mature legal and political leadership, I like the appointment of Mheshimiwa Beatrice Askul as a CS, from another pastoral community. She is with no ounce of doubt qualified to be a cabinet minister !
