Opposition MPs being bought

You can add France.
Estonia in the late 80s and South Korea in 1960 come to mind as well.
All this talk of whether revolutions are worth it remind me of Emiliano Zapata quote: “I would rather die on my feet than live on my knees!"
And we are at that point where we have been bullhsitted for so long that as a populace, we are saying enough is enough. A change has to happen.

Once again the enigma shoots himself in the foot...he is his greatest enemy....uliam had been cornered and instead of selling the gen z the rope with which to ... He throws him a life jacket, Sahi the little good will he had with them is finito!
He is part of the ruling class, what Gen Z are doing is completely rejecting his bread and butter, tribal politics that are based on sympathy. He has to defend Ruto or go down with him.

Karua has been opposed to NADCO from day 1. Eugene and Kioni were opposed on the details of the report and they didn't even sign it.

This was 29 Nov 2023 when the report was being released. The three were absent.

Why is that guy comparing kenya to germany? Fact is, we are a developing nation and we must behave as so. In 2016, there was no VAT on fuel, but today there is. One day there will be tax on maize flour and it won't be an issue. In one thread I asked you where/how the govt could get extra revenue, and you all had no idea. The govt attempted to allow kra to monitor your mpesa and bank accounts (and it happens globally btw)- which would enable the govt nab the tax evaders, but people dont want it. Results ni more indirect taxes.
There were recommendations to increase taxes both direct and indirect tax, in the finance Bill.
