Summary:It's nothing unique, 99% is advice to Gen Z, which is neither here or there for a whole 8 minutes. Finally proper advice comes in the last three minutes. it's rebooting the systems from scratch, which I agree some CS have to go to save the administration optics and even effectiveness.

Yeah, so unfortunate that most people are just like you. People who can't see beyond today.

Btw it's not that I don't understand, I see things as are presently on both admin optics and Gen Z optics (which largely they don't care such rhetorics if it doesn't give immediate relief).

Nonetheless, we have lost a part of our glory as a nation that will take time and dedication to build up, alot of time and maybe years. I think the last of Maandamano was yesterday (mild) that's why am saying his pointers are neither here or there on persistent maandamano.... But on his conclusive remarks he does offer really valuable solutions. For regime change we have to wait for 2027, I don't want to politik on this, it's a long way out. There's sth he said on engagement, it's up to govt to come up with mechanisms to fix this, Gen Z as I have tried to understand them don't want a face, they want immediate solutions to a myriad of issues affecting them; the how is a govt affair #one nation.

Thank god the maandamano have subsided. But they are still pushing the tag RutoMust Go on Twitter. You can't tell with certainty whether people may choose to return to the streets, soon. We have plenty of problems, and this is the only chance we have to fix them. But pushing Ruto to resign will solve nothing.
As for debt, Ndii, Wehliye, Nytimes, and Bloomberg are speaking the same language. And you think they are wrong about default?

Debt default is undesirable and should be avoid like a venereal disease to a married man. However, defaulting is not exactly a cliff jump into the abyss. The resultant effects of default range from minor to fatal, depending on how the debt is structured and the robustness of the economy, among other factors. Have we defaulted before? Yes, in1994 and 2000. Effects? Crazy inflation in 1994; I cannot remember about 2000. Countries do default from time to time. Some remain unaffected while others enter a never-ending spiral of crisis.
