Lol...coming from people who voted Azimio. Give us a break. Your party leader used your deaths to get a handshake and a position in the AU twice. Once under Uhuru and now under Ruto. Your Azimio patron Uhuru wa Kenyatta literally set the country on the course of debt distress to the extent that he went to IMF in 2018 for assistance because nobody would lend us money anymore. A program that ends in March, 2025.

When the opposition created a super majority in parliament when they combined with kieleweke, didn't they force through tax increases on fuel, tried to force through a referendum with BBI ama that didn't happen and they were the better choice?

Shame on you!

Dude, calm down before that vein on your forehead that's about to spell FUBU pops. Azimio were not the only other choice then, and neither are they in office right now, plus it's foolhardy to think that anyone opposed to Rootsman voted Raila.
Fact is, Rootsman has pooped the bed.... kweli, rongo?

I wasn't referring to you senator. Tunasemanga names have meaning. Na huyu Wrong Turn named himself aptly.

But if we are going to say there were other candidates other than Ruto and Raila, are you telling me you voted for one of either Wajakohya or Waihiga? If so, what policy or reasons made you vote for either?

It is very easy to say Ruto has shat the bed now! But lets go back two years back and compare now.

- The cost of Ugali flour of the basic brands was north of 200, with subsidies in place. Currently. This brands are oscillating between 120 - 150 without subsidy.

- The shilling was holding at around 120ksh to the dollar, yet it was being supported using our foreign exchange reserves, occasioning a fuel crisis. Today, the shilling is at 128 and allowed to float.

- Poor debt management left us with a $2 Billion Eurobond with no way to pay. Today, Ruto's government was able to refinance that Eurobond and amortize it for better debt management. Rather than paying one bullet payment, we will now pay three equal installments across three years.

- The fuel crisis caused by mismanagement of fx reserves. Today, the much criticized G2G deal has been essential in stabilizing fuel deliveries as well as eased demand of our FX reserves. The cost has also come down without subsidies, 60 Billion of which wasn't even paid when Ruto took over.

- The cheap power which we enjoyed in the final year of Uhuru suddenly evaporated when Ruto came in. Turns out it was yet another subsidy rather than the promised reforms. Also, it turns out, the subsidy was unpaid just like the fuel subsidy. Today the cost of power is slowly coming down because of the exchange rate without subsidy.

- Universities were shutting down because of bankruptcy. The contractors of the CBC classrooms were not even paid. JSS teachers had not been employed. The doctor's CBA had not been honored. HELB was going broke. NHIF was broke.

I could go on and on. Any president who took over after Uhuru was always going to be under the cosh. Populism wasn't going to take us anywhere and that is what was being offered up by all the other candidates. It doesn't mean Ruto has got everything right, but by God, nobody can ever convince me I made the wrong decision at the ballot.

You voted Uhuru in 2013 and in 2017 two times.
At what point did you realise all this?
