If I can remember well there used to be a small stream from side ya KU heading towards northlands, you can clearly see the design of thika road at that point blocked the stream,also the buildings on kahawa side interfered with the flow.

How are the 2 related? The dam is very far from the road. The road is flooded because of blockage not because there's a dam down stream

Boss that section of the road has always been filled with water during rainy seasons only that this round rains are heavy! Hata karura forest ,'those streams are bursting ,if the rains continues kiambu road will be cut off!
