About 40 legislators have demanded the resignation of Deputy President William Ruto over gross misconduct and for allegedly disobeying President Uhuru Kenyatta. They claim the DP has declared war against the development of the country by contradicting the President and his office.
“The Deputy President has blatantly disobeyed his principal and in this regard, in our view, it constitutes gross misconduct and an act of insubordination,”

"This is not a statement by ODM, ANC, Jubilee, Wiper or Kanu. It is a statement by members of both Houses." - Nominated MP Maina Kamanda
Has the DP disrespected the President in any way? Should he resign? Should he clap back at his critics? Should he keep his cool and say the MPs are fighting him?
