I am not a Futurama fan .
Dual is only part of the solution, what if the western part of the country had a train kama ile ya Nairobi Mombasa ?
Also its very important we be disciplined on the road .

In 2013 waiyaki way was in similar predicament . Every paper works done and even tendering lakini political atmosphere was not conducive . Nairobi/ Nakuru to Mau summit highway must be done !
We dont want more loans. Ile uhulu alifanya dualing westlands to rironi is enough. Problem rironi to nakuru is lane discipline.

Yes discipline should be top but then again, traffic always builds up whenever there's a minor issue such as an accident or bad weather.
But for a road that is probably the 2nd if not the most important in the country, it not being a dual carriageway at least to Nakuru is a travesty. For instance, since the expansion of Waiyaki Way from Rironi, there hasn't been the kind of traffic jams as those which happen consistently in places such as Kimende and Gilgil.
And I know that wider roads ironically lead to more usage and worse jams eg Thika Rd and Houston, TX but a multi approach solution is needed.

We have a long way to go . Sometimes unafikanga kwa roundabout or a junction and just watch how people drive and it can make you go mad.
