Shows how mpesa has the economy by the balls, nearly all transactions halted. Hata hiyo ya goverment ya one paybill, that decision has to be relooked, rather have several payments options like airtel money,cards etc, they can all be pointing to one account.

It's not like there aren't other digital transaction options, Safaricom is convenient for most.
