I have been on social media since 2008, and during all that time, we have had endless conversations, banter, critiques, and everything in between when it comes to politics.
There always seems to be two divides. In early 2008, it was all about nusu mkate, PEV and the rigging of the Dec 07 elections. Many people were either for Rao or Baks.
By 2013, when URP merged with TNA, it was clear that the nation was once again divided and the same was reflected on social media streets. 2017 and last year, same old script. It has always seemed to be like that until now.
Yaani, I am scrolling through Twitter and everyone, including those who voted massively for Zakayo Ole Ushuru are firmly against him. Yaani the man is so unpopular that I have seen several posts wishing him death and others that say the only reason he should not nyuria is because his deputy is an even bigger clown.
Ladies and gentlemen, it's truly a new dispensation, and if we had a properly done opinion poll today, his approval rating would be a single digit.
