Bottom up working well

Good sir a packet of Unga was not at 230 in August 22. And a sales promo price in one store chain is not indicative of fallen prices. Clutching at straws is the forte of desperate men.
Hapa Kwa unga it seems something is happening.I was in the supermarket jana and the "premium" maize flour ndio ziko around 220 the likes of Kavagara and Hostess .Brand za raiya ni less than 200 .
FYI - based on Naivas ,Kamakis and not sure kama hizi bei ni za offer I was not very keen .
I was on a fact finding mission fully funded by Mpyaro .

With a bag of maize costing 4,000 then it means that 2kg of maize is about 90 bob. If your add 50% cost of transport, manufacturing, packaging, marketing, distribution, KRA, profit etc the cost rises to 135 bob as cheapest unga we can ever get. So maneno ya 100 bob unga is a pipe dream. Its only possible if a bag of maize goes for less than 3000 bob.
