The whole thing is involuntary. The bowel or bladder can withstand a lot of pressure when in public but hastily give up at the slightest hint of privacy. Case in point, you can hold back a pressured bladder in a matatu for tens of minutes but lose control seconds after alighting.

What is it with water and making one want to pee? Mine is if II touch water. But the urge disappears when I am not in a position where I can pee - like when I wash hands in a restaurant.
