I agree, but the one pictured is a poor representation, and could be a case of youth envy, his age mates feeling kiwaru, or I may be ignorant of international etiquettes involved in taking a selfie with a foreign head of state.

In my case, I have seen CS, PS, a statutory board official and constitutional bodies commissioners, leaving Nairobi to far flung areas , with no communication to the field officers on invitation of politicians and or other interested parties, Any of the mentioned person could meet a mishap in the area and bring issues to unknowing individuals, I have seen several times an OCS scrambling to provide a security coverage detail, for persons who visit fwaaa, without following the laid down protocols.

It also could be the said ministries/departments/constitutional bodies staffed unqualified /underqualified people who are ignorant of protocols involved in field visits, something that was unheard of 15 years ago, when career civil servants were promoted to staff the relevant offices.

When every new appointee comes with "his people" then career civil servants take a back seat and leave the minister and his people to do things their way. A lot of times they mess.

Thanks, now my good Sir, what's your unblemished opinion about the ping-pong of words between the DP and the former PM or Siasa chafu according to taifa leo..
