When other Countries are attracting billions in FDI into manufacturing and research, Tugeges are getting mesmerised and excited by the Opening of an African HQ Office
The only employment opportunities that will be realised are a few drivers and watchmen.
There will be no knowledge transfer. 99.9% of the profits will be repatriated to China.
There will be no long term advantages of any kind having a Tik Tok Office in Nairobi. In fact the only reason they want it here is because other African Countries view Tik Tok with suspicion due to its low moral stance.

Just imagine somebody celebrating because Tik Tok is opening an Office in Nairobi at a time when all manufacturers, researchers and start-ups are relocating to neighbouring countries due to harsh business climate.
Tik Tok and other digital giants are renowned worldwide for tax dodging and here is a grown ass man boasting of Nairobi’s Tik Tok?
