All the US cares about is its self interests. Fact is that the US supported Raila in 2007, 2013 and 2017 because Kibaki and Uhuru chose to look east and deal with china. You all remember when they warned Kenyans that “choices have consequences” if “ICC criminal suspects uhuruto” were elected. After the 2022 election results they gave up on Raila after they realized that Raila could never manage to be elected and push their agenda. That is why they are now supporting hasla, one of the ICC duo that they condemned and warned against in 2013, and they hope to influence him to pull kenya from china’s influence.
